My Worst Job Ever - 1996

"I had a lot of good jobs with CAN, but this wasn't one of them!"

The editor (on the left) standing with colleague Brian James near the bottom of one of the legs of the Shell Cormorant platform. I'd been inspecting pipework 40 feet below hanging on the end of a rope, and know that I've got 30 ladders to climb, carrying a rebreather, before I can get back to sea level to have lunch.
